With more than 35 years of personal experience, one of RYŪZILLA's co-founders has seen sneaker culture evolve from classic adidas Superstars and Fila sneakers to the streetwear movement of the 1990s and today's global sneaker scene. That history has helped shape an independent digital platform where cultural knowledge and editorial judgement come before commercial interests.
Rather than creating another endless online sneaker catalogue, STDY72™ draws inspiration from independent magazines and the stories behind the products themselves. Its philosophy, “Less search. More heat,” reflects a deliberate decision to prioritise human curation over automated recommendations. Every featured sneaker is selected by hand, with attention to design heritage, cultural relevance and the creative history behind individual models.
The platform focuses on six established brands: Nike, Air Jordan, adidas Originals, PUMA, New Balance and Lacoste. Through in-depth editorial features, design histories and curated product selections, STDY72™ aims to connect contemporary releases with the culture that made these brands influential.
Behind the editorial experience is an affiliate model designed to support the platform without compromising its independence. STDY72™ will not operate as a conventional retailer or maintain its own inventory. Instead, visitors will be directed to official brand webshops through relevant product links.
